Even more squaddie-proof than an SLR, this rifle is issued to designated marksmen in airborne and armoured infantry units. The rifle comes chambered in 7.62x54r with a 10 round mag.

Although similar to an AK series rifle, it shares no common parts. The reciever is far longer and the cartridge packs a punch well over its weight.

Accuracy is similar to what you would expect from an LSW, but this'll put you on your arse beyond 600m, unlike the LSW, which just richochets of your Combat 95s at that range.

The SVD range is commonly referred to as a Snipers weapon, which is incorrect. It is purely a support weapon designed to increase the effective range of an infantry section.
