A derogatory term from the North of England depicting one who prefers women rather than Beer. In Scotland applied to someone not wanting to do something their parents want them to that may involve personal suffering i.e. take a swim in the North Sea.

Outside of the North of England more likely to infer a certain girlishness in a bloke. May or may not be a member of 3 Para Mortar Platoon.
