This could be anything from a sculpted goatee of the French artist to that of a muslim imam which is likely to be something you could hide a badger in.
Its an opportunity in this rule ridden world to express oneself in a manner that the feckers cant do anything about. Still doesn't make it cool though!

A woman pretending to be 'with' a bloke who is gay is said to be his 'beard'.
