The Humvee Avenger is a modified form of the Spams HMMWV. It is a short-range mobile anti-aircraft defence platform utilised by the United States Army and the Egyptians. Responsible for only two aircraft kills in the first Gulf War, leaving politicians to wonder whether they were worth the money.
