Mechanized Infantry are equipped with BULLDOG armoured vehicles designed to move soldiers quickly to seize and hold ground, dominate urban areas or control mountainous terrain and wooded/forested areas.

As part of the 1st Mechanised Brigade, they are supported by Armoured Battle Groups using Warriors and Challenger 2 Main Battle Tanks. They are equipped with equipment that includes the full range of small arms, mortars, anti-tank weapon systems and surveillance equipment.

Recent Deployments: Kosovo, Northern Ireland and Iraq
