Titled 3rd Bn The Royal Welsh - the TA Battalion of the Royal Welsh. Provides soldiers for 1 Royal Welsh and 2 Royal Welsh for training and operations. Also provides decent adventure training opportunities (skiing, rock climbing, summer/winter mountain proficiency) each year if you keep your ear to the ground.

HQ Company: Cardiff, Maindy barracks
A Company: Wrexham, provide GPMG support - Detachment in Queensferry as a pioneer platoon
B Company: Swansea, provide anti-tank capability with Javelin - Detachment in Aberystwyth as a rifle platoon
C Company: Pontypridd, provide a mortar fire support role
D Company: Colwyn Bay - Detachment in Caernarfon
