3rd Bn Royal Anglian Regiment

The 3rd Battalion the Royal Anglian Regiment, also known as The Pompadours, was merged into the remaining two Battalions on the 5 October 1992, After the disbandment parade at Meane Barracks, Colchester. The Colours were laid to rest at Warley Chapel.(They broke the best to improve the rest). There has also been a 4th Battalion The Royal Anglian Regiment (The Leicester Tigers) disbanded in the 60s.
