 3 Commando Brigade


3 Commando Brigade is the only British Brigade that specializes in Amphibious Operations. It is a 'light' Brigade consisting of 3 x 'Commandos' (40, 42 & 45 Commando Royal Marines) which are battalion size units, supported by Artillery, Engineer, Signals and Logistic units of the Army. Volunteers for these army units have to pass the AACC (All Arms Commando Course) and proudly wear the Green Beret and the 'Dagger' of the Royal Marines.
