In the Christian calender, this is the day before the Boxing Day sales.
To fortify yourself for venturing out into the free fire zone that is the winter solstice sales, on the 25th you must first stuff as much food and alcohol down your throat as possible (in case you get injured, cut off and require rescue). Presents and toys should be given to your nearest and dearest in case you don't make it back. Shag the wife in case you never see her again then pass out till awaking at 4am the next day to prepare for 'The War in the Aisles'.
