25 Armoured Engineer Squadron, now 25 Field Squadron Light Role, reformed sometime in the late 1990s as part of 38 Engineer Regiment in Ripon. The squadron deployed to the Balkans before fully manned, and then following the heady excitement of Op FRESCO deployed on Op TELIC 1 attached to 32 Engineer Regiment (for a couple of months anyway). 1 Armoured troop then then also deployed on part of Op TELIC 2 with 38 Engineer Regiment. Some time after that they became 25 Field Squadron and have since served again in Iraq and probably Afghanistan. Someone else needs to fill in the blanks from here on...
