1st Amalgamees (Blankshires and Loamshires)

Since time immemorial, the average British infantry battalion has had two sterling representatives: 1st Battalion, the Loamshire Regiment (1 Loamshires); and 1st Battalion, the Blankshire Regiment (1 Blankshires).
Alas, tradition counts for little in the 21st Century British Army and these two fine old virtual county regiments are, at last, to merge to create a new single battalion 'super-regiment', 1 Amalgamees.
Shame.
