The following military events took place in 1982:
- The Falklands War was triggered by the occupation of South Georgia by Argentina on 19 March 1982 and ended with the defeat and surrender of Argentinian Forces on 14 June.

- One of the most important years over the past few decades. On it's first day, it gave birth to the future saviour of the free world StabTiffy2B
- Co-incidentally, it was the year Fluffy Bunny first took the Queen's Shilling, making his Army Number as old as StabTiffy2B (the nig!).
