Are you saying John Bulls' kit isn't as good as Troopers/Jay Jays, or nothing is as good? If you mean the latter, then I would disagree. Vanguard is the old Wyvern brand, and has always had a good reputation. They supply quite a few of the items sold by SASS, who also have a long standing reputation for quality.

    Re: Vanguard tailored webbing

Time to clear up a few issues I think.

Firstly my thanks to Stokey for the publicity, if you're an account holder with us let me know and we'll show our gratitude on your next order. If not PM me if you need anything; it will be discounted!

Points about Vanguard's All Arms Belt Kit. Why use it instead of PLCE? 3 words: comfort, stability and weight.

It is without doubt the most comfortable belt rig we've seen. Being a single unit it's more stable and the complete set weighs just 2lb, while a comparable set of PLCE weighs 5lb. Unusually for such a set it is adaptable. Other sets of Hip Pad/Airborne Webbing (call it what you will) are sewn together completely, if you change roles (IE rifle to GPMG) you can't change your belt order. With this one you can. Vanguard's design has been in production for at least 3 years now and their experience shows.

Everyone's doing custom webbing now? Mainly because it works! Also the original manufacturer for Dragon are now offering it to any retailer wishing to buy it. I hear that Dragon don't like that, but it was hardly an original design was it?

Personally I choose not to stock that particular set as I have reservations about it.

As for comparing with Tropers/Jay Jays, I think Vanguard's kit will stand up to any comparison anyone wishes to make. As Stokey observes Vanguard have been around a good 10 years plus and the owner takes his work very seriously. He considers it a responsibility to provide quality kit, this attitude has greatly influenced our choices at ukkitmonster and encoraged us to stand by our principles. It's just a shame his kit hasn't caught imaginations here the way some has.

Any more questions I'll be glad to answer them here or through the website. www.ukkitmonster.com

    Thanks for the interest, Dom

It's the Anti Troll/O2 cloaking device. You need to go into your account options & set preferences, although not many have that facility.
It was introduced by the bosses after the Chubbs/TLF wars last year.

    Kit_Monster,

I'd seen that you'd been getting some good press on here so I decided to buy some kit off your site (not webbing, just some zinc tape and a crusader mug). But my card was knocked back, because you do not except cards beginning with 5520. It was excepted at RV OPs and Jay Jays.
    Any reason.

Still never got the tape, but once I stop buying I cant stop.

    Cheers

Bruce, I'm very sorry to learn you had difficulties with our site. I have suspected there were some problems with certain cards from some recent calls we've had. If you have difficulties online we do have some trained humans available to answer the telephone so do please call 01892 538364 between 10.00am and 5.00pm . I know it negates the ease of ordering online but if we don't know we can't fix it!

We accept most cards our web designer just doesn't seem to agree with us! Any chance of taking time out from shooting bad guys and having a word with him? That Beretta 92 of yours is very persuasive....

Not human? They're not members of your Patrols Platoon! As for training I've recently introduced electro shock treatment and the results are encouraging.

Seeing how you're never working (too busy on arrse) will you be on this weekend?

More like Patrols section these days.

Yep, I'll be there doing my bounty hunting. Didn't get it this year, what with not going to camp. Still Purto Rico (Knok camp more like) should be fun.

    Kitmonster,

Fair one. I went into spend mode on Monday night (Bank holiday) so I doubt any of your staff would be available.

Full marks to Jay Jays, I placed an online order on Monday night (after KM knocked me back) and I received it this morning (Wednesday). RVOps have sent an email to confirm their order is in the post.

KM, seeing as you think I am the real Bruce Willis. Could you send me some free stuff for the next Die Hard film.

Next time I go into spend mode, I'll give you a try.

Also Jay Jays sent me a free pen and a key ring (I am dribbling as I type)
good service and free stuff. I'll be back.

Update on my order from RV OPs

It arrived today a week after ordering, they also sent an email informing me what was happening. It also included free stuff (dribble), a "Rite in the Rain" note book.
