Re: Useful NSNs
IIRC, the nsn is stamped on the blade. You could simply ask your Missus to nip downstairs and look at the one wedged in the keyboard.

Re: Useful NSNs
All these NSNs are all very well and good, but you can't just order them on a whim, what kind of justification do you tell the QM? 'I need them for exercise/ops'? I know our QMs dept wouldnt even give you a fu@king fart even if you were going on ops unless it's on a specific list we are entitled to have.

Re: Useful NSNs
As you said you wont get a fart without justification, and why should you? I personally know senior G4 staff who have tried to order things they are not scaled for and ended up getting a prompt telling off. If your unit is scaled to have something then there will be a reason that goes hand in hand with the item.
For example (Lowa Boots) mostly only SF units will be scaled for these, anyone else trying to order them simply wont get them. Justification or not...
Back to my question... does anyone have the NSN for "Silverdip" ?What is a man that does not try to make the world a better place?

Re: Useful NSNs
If it's for expense items then most of the time it's not a drama, ET items and shiny/expensive items can be more of a problem and you have to be a bit more Creative.

CC TA
I once dropped some Aircraft tech in the brown smelly stuff for demanding a "Cloth" for a Lynx re fit.
I have no idea what he was going to do with the "Panties, Womens, PT" that the NSN related to.

My MJDI comes up with H10 7930 99 7718411 for silverdip.

Re: Useful NSNs
Wtf is silverdip used for?????
Hmmmm reckons EVERYTHING may now be silver-coated n shiney, if it's what I think it does.
b_sBoob sizing is pretty straightforward:
"From the right, number!"
"One! Two, last mamm, Sir!"

Does anyone have a NSN for some GUCCI Goggles for our guys to use refuelling aircraft on the line. Ideally not the ones that have the foam surround. but anyhting else would be great.
I have tried the UVEX website but to no avail
