Probably, it's also less for foliage to snag whilst moving (the bipod extensions are bastards for extending themselves in close country) I've seen a pic of an SASR M-60 with the flash suppressor, bipod, foresight, handguard, carrying handle, rearsight, and butt all removed.

Not in my reckoning. Allmost. There's something about the loose fitting combats and frankly silly looking issue helmet that really make it hard to look proper ally. Thousand yard state is a good 'un. And I'm not saying he's not nails.
