On Telic 9 a ban came in for not putting stuff on your armour, it was soon forgotten, it's just one of those things that comes and goes. Wouldn't worry about it. If they genuinely didn't want Molle pouches added to the front then there wouldn't be Molle loops on the front of the body armour.

The chap in the photo cam across very well and very articulate (which surprised me for a Para). Basically said yes he's a Muslim but those that he were fighting were fundamentalists and terrorists.

I never came across many guys in Para Reg who didn't come across as 'very well and articulate'. Maybe you should spell check your post...maybe you could also come across as articulate!

Nice one - I find I have a foot in both camps. Para Reg has many many bright blokes, and I am proud to call some of them friends. But too often (happens on here more than enough) Paras will fall back on boorish/aggressive when smart/blunt/witty (FSJ is Black Belt 4th Dan) would win more respect.

And - where the feck is he s'posed to hang that stuff, and still be able to use it when he needs it, if not on his front?? FFS!!!

Actually if they didn't want you to put stuff on the front of your armour they probably wouldn't issue the pouches and an instruction booklet on how to fit them to the front of your armour.
