Weapon carelessly left on the deck????

and that looks suspiciously like iron sights -

not ally

if you notice he's actually got his hand on the weapon so i wouldn't class that as careless (added to which he's got it right by his side)!

furthermore whats your problem with 349?

349 is crap.

Assault vest and bush hat are extremely new looking.

Very un-ally, unless you're a cadet.

black eyes are there to protect cadet's identities, not because i'm a ponce

I remember that on the news, seriously I hate flying inside a fucking airplane, I can't imagine the gut's it took to strap on the outside of one in combat...
