. . .well if you're gonna go all 3-letter acronyms - not much use for ROE under "Mad Mitch", or so i understand :D

More likely to have a vet visit from the Norge equivalent of the RSPCA. The cnut could have given his doggie a bit more skin protection especially as it's a short haired breed.

My rational? - Note how well the jumper is wrapped up, including the full face balaclava. He's exiting sub oxygen height, say 10,000'. I'd surmise that the exit height still air temperature is -30C; allowing for a -1C per 10mph air speed drop in temperature, the jumper will reach a tv of 120mph. The dog is exposed to an air temperature of -42C for at least 50 secs or so. Hope the wee beast bit that posing fcuker on landing :D

How do blind skydivers know when they are about to land?

The leash on their guide dog goes slack.

The write up says its HAHO - which would mean he's hoppin'n'poppin - which would at least mean Das Hund never has to deal with wind chill at TV . . . just has to cope with 20 minutes or so of windchill at whatever the airspeed of that canopy is - so that'll be okay then :D

In fairness to the Argylls, they always had robust Rules of Engagement. So far as I can recall, they went along the lines of, "You will engage - robustly!"

A good Battalion - but don't tell anyone I said that!
We need people who look to the stars, holding the nation and the world in their hearts but at the same time we need down-to-earth people who can do serious and trying work.

In a definite sense, a country's power and prestige isn't only a reflection of its economic power but also a reflection of its people's quality and morality. Moreover, I think the latter is actually more important in the long-term.

(At least the dog was paying attention to the briefing - note the extended position of its front legs. It might have a few words to say about where the draft is going, though)
Going to get messy if the pooch craps or p*sses!

I've just shown this to Woman: her first observation was, 'Oooh-that poor dog's starfish: how cruel!'.

    Which made me smile.

Did she mean the 2-leggedy one with the leather frap-hat or the 4-leggedy one with the muzzle

The lads look in great shape and are a great credit and source of pride. But there is mixed dress all over. They look like poll tax rioters.

Alright, who left their biro in their dhobi bag?
