I had to google it myself, but it's come up in one or two topics over the last 6 months...
I favour a green army towel, folded and rolled. Then slide a plastic bag in to the middle. Lubricate and, ahem, do what you feel.
Don't lubricate with a well known washing up liquid like one lad did... made his knob go all flaky because he didn't wash the 'lubricant' off. He was proper terrorified.

I prefer to snack as i go - that way alleviating hunger pangs and maintaining vigilance in my quadrant.

Errrr...Yes. The new 10 Man rat packs are OK.........ish. Having lived on the damm things for 3 months I can say they are largely pump. The amount of food that was wasted as no one wanted to cook foul soya link, beans, tinned toms and bacon grill for 30 bods every single day was unreal. No one eats that many oats. The egg powder was vile and unedible and no one would touch it. About 3 blokes knew how to make bread. The No.5 cookset was f**ked. The mince was vile, rather more like cow dung in a bag than mince. The chicken was OK but cheap and after a month was just depressing. The tuna was equally depressing. There was no need for so much jam as no one used it. The soups were all equally vile and unused. The tinned cheese was crap. The complete lack of spicies and herbs with any real flavour was depressing and must have cost all of us about £100 a week in stuff sent from home. We bought fresh chickens, bread and veg locally as there was no means to supply us with any fresh food with FOB Shawqat a mere 3km away. By R&R I hated noodles, pasta, instant mash and rice to the point I refused point blank to eat them.
Whatever happened to the olod hobby chief course ?
