I was a good runner in the mob. I alway's liked to think I could get out of trouble quicker than what I got into it!

With a full mag on your SLR, you wouldn't need your sword!

Of course having no last round hold open that fitted magazine might well be empty so best to keep the bayonet handy.

To eat well in England one must have breakfast three times a day

    Somerset Maugham

London: its "buzz" and "vibrancy"... can be codewords for drugs, late-night noise and multi-culturalism run (literally) riot.

Do the orders also refer to a "Stag Rosta"? Is it painstakingly written in block capitals with flat bottoms?

Wrong. I have 2001 and 2011 here and sad individual that I am can get hold of a pre-PLCE version tomorrow. Anyway since you're a sad wanker of a failed Cav officer why should I take any note of your opinion on infantry equipment? Ugly has gravitas, you most definitely do not.
