But what makes a "Para" Bergen?

It has to be accredited "Jumpable" and I'm afraid that means issue.
maybe it can jump out of a plane all on its own?

Just saw this on the Dragon site:

Almost looks too big! Certainly pricey (250 pounds!!) but it does look well thought out...

Those side pockets really are a case of "too much PALS."

Is that Ross Kemp modelling the Bergen in the extra images?
Squaddies unwise enough to eat are confronted with standard_that is, inedible_cookhouse fair. if boiled is good, fried is better, and steamed, then boiled, then fried, seemed to be their idea of culinary Nirvana.

"Be an example to your men, in your duty and in private life. Never spare yourself, and let the troops see that you don't in your endurance of fatigue and privation. Always be tactful and well-mannered and teach your subordinates to do the same. Avoid excessive sharpness or harshness of voice, which usually indicates the man who has shortcomings of his own to hide."

    Far too slim:

    Mouse training for men.

You can take a horse to water, but you can't make it drink. However, you can bl**dy well make it wish it had!

Have to say, the UK Tactical one looks good.

Ross Kemps has simply too much PALS on those side pouches.

What are you going to attach there?
    MORE pouches?

I was thinking the same thing - pouches, on pouches!

They do have this other version:

And the side pouches actually come off this one, and the lid is floating... all of which increases the cost!

Looks interesting - although I'm always surprised by how different the various versions of 'MTP compatible' material seem to look.
