That would be a completely different watch though; the Seamaster Professional 200m, also known as the 'Pre-Bond'. Finding one of those with an automatic movement would be a challenge; the vast majority were quartz, although in fairness the Cal.1441 movement in the earlier ones was thermocompensated so is more than capable of chronometer performance.

I've gone for a Bremont Supermarine 500/BL. Review Below...
Bremont Supermarine 500 reviewed | Monochrome Watches
I love the look, classical but added to the relentless march for mechanical perfection making it a far better made watch than even a Breitling or Omega, as well as being far more rare than either of them. Plus it's the first watch that has really drawn me...
Very happy!RAC(TA) - 2006-2009

Sir Walter Raleigh declared in the early 17th century that "whoever commands the sea, commands the trade; whosoever commands the trade of the world commands the riches of the world, and consequently the world itself." This principle is as true today as when uttered, and its effect will continue as long as ships traverse the seas."

If you want to go mad (but buy something which is likely to appreciate in value) look at IWC. In a fit of madness (given every watch I've ever owned has been smashed/broken) I bought one and it's amazing. Very big and 'manly' should anyone ever doubt you. Perhaps the funniest thing to happen after buying it was being mugged for 150 quid and the dipshit scumbag overlooked the watch.

Bremont falls into the luxury watch category, the same as Breitling, Omega and Rolex.
If you want better then you are looking at high end luxury such as Breguet, Franck Muller, JLC etc.

Bremont are cropping up all over the place recently. They did this limited edition (run of 30) designed for UK Apache crews. Based on an Alt1-Z.

The more I found out about them the more I like them and although the Supermarine was about twice as expensive as I was originally thinking I did the stupid thing and went with the heart and yet couldn't be happier.
