1. No he hasn't - certainly not for these items.

Right to make this clear anything in MTP is not alowed to be sold to the public.
Is that right or is it not as easy as that?

My local surpuls store says he has a camelpack in MTP but it was not so it is multicam, so why do surpuls store's think they can get gear like rucksacks in MTP and not trousers or shirt's?

Correct - if it's MTP then its not for sale.

The design is licensed as well so if someone tried to knock it off/change it slightly, then they can still be prosecuted accordingly.

Most items sold as MTP are actually Multicam.

Flicking through Ebay of a yesterday morn', I found a fair few bits of MTP kit for sale, some of it still in placcy bags with NSN numbers being mentioned.

Perhaps someone of a senior nature should take a closer look as I think this gear isn't of the regular buckshee gizzit nature but is frankly stolen.

OK, let's take a REALLY serious look at the situation.
Loads of people are kicking off about kit with NSNs, and enjoying discussing the situation.

Has anyone here ever bought kit "off-market"? That's what feeds the situation.
Has anyone here got a financial interest in the MoD Contract? If not, WTF?
Does anyone here give a fiddler's fukc, as long as they've got the kit they want? Possibly not.
Anyone here in Procurement, or Contracts, or whatever, who gives a sh1t?
Anyone here a commercial competititor?

Can we ALL take another chill pill?

And where's the MTP for the Slingsby Team?

Really? I ebayed an arctic smock and COP vest about 48 hours after it being issued, complete with the ubiquitous PARA/SAS/Cdo tagging and did quite well out of it.

Why is Arrse getting all worried about MTP leaking into the civilian market? envy?
