Great work SJ, beautifully documented. So has he just been officially outed on ARRSE or have the Legion, schools and press etc been warned off?

Blinding. Just goes to show though how these characters get away with this type of behaviour. Even with the concentration of expertise and access to 'people who know' on here, this bloke still tried to bluff his case.
Imagine a crowd of old buffers in his local RBL trying to deal with him: he's bullish enough and has garnered enough superficial knowledge from books and internet to sound believable, and once he comes out with a plausible service number it's game over. If all of his claims and stories are spoken he can use smoke and mirrors to obfuscate and lie his way out of confrontation- like he tried to blame the journo from the local paper for the appeal for a 'replacement' uniform, hoping, I suppose, that we wouldn't have seen Sunjock's 'undercover' email exchange in which he is happy to accept an offer of uniforms. badges etc.
That's why he's disappeared from here, every morsel of his story that he commits to print can be analysed and disected and shown to be bollocks. Such as his NI tour dates, he's already backed himself into a corner by giving the parameters of his 'army career', so his virtual tour has to fit in with that, shame that someone knows that 2 PARA weren't in the Province then, although they mentioned that 1 PARA were, I'm guessing his next step would be to claim that he was attached to them…
The real shame of this, and the real damage that he's done, is that the schools involved will probably think twice before inviting veterans to speak to children again.

Normally can't be arrsed about Walts whatever their background but this one really does appear to have needed exposing. Let's hope that any damage he has done to the military's reputation can be mitigated as soon as possible.
You've done your bit Hooky, out you go.

I trhink the simplke question for a school, journo, the RBL or anywhere else has to be:
Why would an EX-serviceman turn up in uniform (or half a uniform for that matter) or need assistance to replace a uniform that he should have handed in when he left and certainly has no requirement to wear?Guests are requested not to feed the vampires.
I am gross and perverted.
Im obsessed and deranged.
I have existed for years but very little has changed.
Im the best you can get, have you guessed me yet?

FFS, someone broke into my house last night, christ what a mess, all the cupboards and drawers turned out, sofa ripped to shreds, floor-boards taken up, tsk!
Stupid Fuckers left the 50 Inch LCD, the Bose Sound System, well, basically all the consumer-shit left untouched, they also over-saw the 5K float I keep ensconced in my Sub-woofer..............er, shit.
But I m really appealing for your Arrsers help, you see, cos my "Red Book" has coincidently vanished, along with my NDM, my 49 Para Certificate, and a used pair of Twisters.
Now I cant prove that I made WOII after 3 years!

I didn't hand mine in, I think they used to take it back when you came off the reserve (six years) but nobody got in touch with me. I've still got a sausage bag full of some skinny twats clobber although I've resisted wearing it with the obvious exception my thermal long johns and Chinese fighting suit for discos and the like.
Joking aside, you're right of course, but what civvy is going to stick their neck out and question something that they're not absolutely confident in knowing the answer to. This guy is presenting himself as a wounded combat veteran of one of the most notoriously punchy gangs of fuckers in the world, are you, as Miss Jones of the Reception Class going to ask him why he looks like a bag of shite? The RBL was the only filter this fellow was exposed to and if the branch is full of ex-RASC septugenarians then they'd be as star-struck as the civvies involved. They would WANT to believe the veracity of this god of war come into their midst.

Sunjock has to take the 2011 prize for fishing and reeling in. I loved the way he played just the right amount of "awe" while quietly putting all the questions in place. A real masterclass on how it's done and the undoing of, in my opinion, a potential danger to kids and the reputation of honourable men and women around the UK and beyond.

If my sense of humour annoys you, please tell me..So I can LAUGH AT YOU!!
