I'm not sure that claiming to be the Duke of Earl would help my cv much but if buying a title helps me get a bit, then that's a whole different story.

Listen Bushmills! If all you want to do is get into her knickers, then why bother buying a title, when just saying you have one will do the job?

Duke of Leinster is a good one. Even if challenged by somebody who says "You aren't the 9th duke!" You merely reply "That charlatan? I am the true descendent of the 5th duke!"
