About 20 years ago when I lived in London I was researching our family tree and used to go to the Mormon Family History Centre in Balham. THe first time I went I was somewhat filled with trepidation, but I found them very helpful with no proselytizing.
They believe that everyone is a saint, but all you ancestors need to have been baptised for you to get in to heaven, so if you live in the UK there is an excellent (I'd guess about 85%) chance that all you relly's have been posthumously baptised by the Mormons over the last 20 years. The only good thing I can say about my sister-in-law is that she's fat -
so there'll be plenty of room for everyone who wants to dance on her grave.

Actually there are others who benefit from research. Years ago when I was in law school I worked summers in the office of the Clerk of the Courts for my county. At that time there were desks set up for a couple of Mormons to work there. They had asked permission to microfilm all of the records of the county. Lots of records. The county was founded as one of the 4 shires of Massachusetts in 1643 but the records only go back to 1649.
The Mormons were no problem as microfilmed the records and when they left wit their microfilms they provided the clerk with a detailed index and two complete microfilms so one could be used and one kept in a vault. Lots of records preservation help with no cost to the county. The Clerk was very pleased.Nuair a chacann caora, cacann siad uilig
