If he'd said SOF or Special Operations I'd agree. However, he said SF and he is right per se as they don't come under the green berets.

The Green Berets while carrying the origianl "SF" tag are direct entry just like the Rangers, they aren't really "SF".

SOF/SOCOM/SF blah blah blah it's all synonymous in the US forces and and mostly bollocks, if you had to compare the actual role of the Green Berets with anything they pretty much fill the same role as the British Training teams.
