IIRC, they suggest that the Boathouse could be perfect for Honeymoons. It IS a lovely location.
Maybe early spring would be too early to borrow one of their boats to take a trip on the Loch. When I went a few years ago now, they gave us a lovely Picnic Hamper complete with Champagne, and we rowed over to a uninhabited little island and had our picnic there. Look at it on Google Earth. Tralee bay near Oban has some nice log cabins but no log fire.

You could try these people, south of France, near the Med, if you do, get the Eurostar and TGV to get there, takes about a day, but on a train with lots to look out the window at. Plus no hanging around airport terminals.

If you've got a gorgeous girl and you'd be happy to spend all your money on her, I'd say anywhere as long as you can lock the door and pull the curtains, it really won't matter that much, tell her you are saving for the wedding!.
The Nation that forgets it's defenders, shall Itself be soon forgot.
