    German Motorway Services

I may have to undertake an epic drive from UK to Croatia at Christmas but I haven't driven on the Autobahns for many, many years. Does anyone know what the state of play for dog-friendly motels is? In the UK, you can stay at Days Inn places at service stations and I'm just wondering about ze Fatherland and whether they have a similar set-up. I'd be looking to stay somewhere for a night south of Nurnberg on the A3.

    Cheers!

In the Nurnberg area there are plenty of hotels, the autobahns only had the schenllies (and the comfort of your own car) You will find a lot of the business parks have hotels which are cheaper than the city hotels.

Sorry, don't have time to look further, but if you peruse the following link you may find something useful:

"Hurrah for the Works Group" just doesn't have the same ring...

"A volunteer is worth ten pressed men."
So, a TA battalion or nine Regular Guards battalions? Not a difficult choice, then (especially as we don't have nine Regular Guards battalions).

Try www.hotel.de They are quite good and have links to Holiday Express over here.

Here's a quick link to hotels in the Nuremberg area on the 18th Dec... http://www.hotel.de/Search.aspx?hs_l...oa3:biggrin:EU
