Oh I hate it when I have to explain EVERYTHING IN SIMPLE TERMS.

He is about to start basic and wants to know what else he needs in his boot kit.
A lot has changed since I did Basic (it lasted 18 months then) so I don't want to say stuff like buy a silvette (selvyt) if the poor sod never has to bull a pair a boots.
I always back read peoples posts to get a feel of their attitude. He is about to change his life and attitudes forever and is probably bricking it a little. This is not the NAAFI bar so I thought a bit of constructive assistance would be nice.
