    the only industry in this country where "Buy British" is still the rule, and is stupidly anti-competitive and out-dated as a result

    my grandfather was at the MOD in the 1960s and procurement was a nightmare back then ffs. why has no-one grabbed them by the scruff of the neck yet?

    Chally 2 exports amounted to a mighty 38 in total, all to Oman. Of the current generation of MBT's, Leo2 has been exported to Holland, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Greece and prolly a few others (certainly over 1,000 export orders), M1 has been exported to Australia, Egypt, Saudi Arabia nad Kuwait (well over 1,000 total), and LeClerc to UAE (400+).

    In the good old days posh retards could be safely packed off to the Church. Nowadays they "work" in MoD procurement.
    I mean,"Future Rapid Effects System" what window licking committee came up with that name?
    Here's an idea, each Regt or corps get given a budget and go off and buy their own stuff.

    Depends on which country you mean. In Germany you can move CR2 by rail. In UK a large wheel-barrow is out of gauge.
