As a student you also recieve your pay tax free. Unfortunatly you will have to go through recruit training again. Like all units you will get good and bad but there should be a few to pick from. Enjoy
Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways kabab in one hand, wine in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming WOW!!!! WHAT A RIDE!!!!!!!!!

Life is short, Break the rules, Forgive quickly, Kiss slowly, Love truly, Laugh uncontrollably, And never regret anything that made you smile

Core - six weekends, then another three for Infantry. Some training centres run a two week course for this phase.

You'll need to do special to arm training, two weeks at an appropriate location.

Listen mate, the TA is great fun and I personally used it to fund my way through uni (I graduated last summer). It's a great laugh and challenging, there are tours but it is not the same as the regular army.

    Where are you based?

yeah, which Uni are you at?
Snakey makes a valid point - you could use the fun to take time out, and use the cash to sort your fees out. They're quite high now, I gather.

There's commando trained engineers in hull if I recall. Or at least there was.

    I'm sure they'd need drivers.
