When I joined each company had its own doctor to do the medicals, the TA should pay them to do the questionaire and medical at the same time.

Oh I just thought of something. I never officially told my doctor that I didn't need inhalers anymore. I just haven't had any/used any for ages, years. Do I need to officially cross myself off the list, so to speak? That will set me back and be a real pain!
Sorry for plaguing you with questions guys.

reference asthma you have to be 4 years clear of prescribed medication. it doesnt matter if you havent taken the medication it goes off the prescription date as that inferrs your GP advised you to take it at those times. You must disclose this on your RG8. if you have been 4 years clear i advise you to ask your GP for a letter stating you are recovered fully and the dates you were prescribed the medication. attach this to the RG8.
despite MO's knowing the requirement for asthma medication they have been knocking back many of our applicants for childhood asthma if they havent produced any supporting evidence that they are clear. All the affected applicants will succeed on medical appeal but its adding to the admin time before they can start training. So again i advise you ask for the covering letter along with your RG8 to stop this happening."Si vis pacem, para bellum"
