    TA Chef

    Hi. First time posting...

I was wandering if anyone out there has purposely joined as a Chef to get trained up and get quals for a civvy role.

Im stuck in a desk job but want to retrain and work in catering. Leaving the job to go to college isnt a option so was wandering if the TA might be a option... has anyone done this route?

(and before anyone says, no, it wouldnt be a get quals and ditch the TA)

    Cheers

Not personally, but it would be a good way to get paid to learn those skills.

‘Good God!’ he laughed, and slowly filled his pipe,
Wondering ‘why he always talked such tripe’.

Yes, it happens a lot, they even used to end up with a HGV licence as cook's had to drive the 4tonner with the grub on.
