For those of you who have not had enough abbreviations to contend with in your career, take a short visit to a unit with Bowman. Ask to be shown the equipment in the vehicle, and prepare to have a 3 hours demonstration without the use of one single word
Motorcycle racing in this country ,as in the UK, was (until they renamed themselves Motorcycling Australia) governed by each state or territories Auto Cycle Union , hence you had the ACU of New South Wales (ACUNSW), ACU of Queensland (ACUQLD) and so on , as a result here in the Tropical north we had The Auto Cycle Union of the Northern Territory . Looked good in the phone book.
