Yep, but Inbred Sister Toucher Jnr got sent off instead and we won.

And that sort of comment really brings it home as to why you are so so detested.

Couldn't give a flying shite if we're detested or not (and incidentally, we're not by most outside of Everton and Man Utd).

We dominated most of the game yesterday. Hibbert was the last man, once the ref gave the foul he had no choice about the red card, by the laws of the game. Kuyt apparently should have walked (haven't seen his foul yet) and didn't and you were unlucky not to have a penalty - hard luck, that's sport.

    Don't flatter yourself.
You are rightly detested for your fans causing the banning of all English teams from European competition. The Lovable Reds thing is a fallacy.

Liverpool were today unveiled as England’s most popular team amongst rival fans in a poll conducted by a national men’s magazine.
Weekly magazine Nuts commissioned the poll to try and find out who the country's football fans considered their second favourite club behind their own team.

The results made interesting reading with 15% of all those asked revealing Liverpool would be their 'second' team or the club they'd most like to achieve success after their own side.

Liverpool topped the pool by a clear 5% with West Ham United and Wigan coming in second and third respectively. Aston Villa finished bottom of the Premiership popularity table with Arsenal and Chelsea completing the relegation places.
From our official site last season.

What happened at Hysel was terrible, but the ban was a culmination of a decade of English hooliganism not a punishment for one night and one team.

No, it wasn't. It was because of the actions of YOUR fans that saw the death of 39 people.

So why wasn't it just Liverpool banned from European competition?

There were incidents involving other clubs, of course there were, but it was YOUR FANS that KILLED 39 fans of another club that caused the ban.
As a Liverpool fan, you, more than anyone else should appreciate that you should not go to a game and die.
Wasn't the polices fault, or pissed up arrses turning up late and causing the stewards to open gates, it was the disgraceful behaviour of the Loveable Reds.
You know it, and in typical RS manner, don't accept it.

So why didn't UEFA just ban Liverpool? Beacause Hysel and the ban were the culmination of years of twats following English clubs in Europe.

Blame has to be apportioned to the dickheads who thought that the stadium was fit for a major final (despite warnings from Liverpool officials that it was a deathtrap) and the completely incompetent Belgian police, along with dickhead fans from both sides who started the trouble.
