But, hey ho anything to slag them off. Have you noticed that despite your bitter and twisted tripe no one has sunk to your level by slagging Forest off. Maybe some posters on here are a little bit older a little bit wiser and know how to show some respect for other teams achievements.

Older is doubtful. Bitter? No, but I can understand why you might think that. I don't think its tripe to regard Liverpool as a spent force with a fan base that perhaps struggles to accept that. You are jostling with Fulham and WBA on a regular basis now. Not Man Utd, City etc

I know plenty of Liverpool fans that regarded the League Cup as Mickey Mouse. Particularly during the period where Forest made 6 finals. Maybe that was a reaction to that short period of dominance. I have however never criticised Liverpool's achievements, certainly not in the way that certain people were critical of the way Chelsea won on Saturday on the other thread.

No point slagging Forest, their current plight is obvious and I've not claimed otehrwise. As is that of LFC and that is all I have ever said. No slagging off past achievements. No resorting to pointless but pure abuse about Hillsborough or Heysel. Your thinking I came from St Ann's was below the belt though.

I will however bugger off now. At least until Neil Warnock or Roy Keane turn you down too.

FFS you beat a championship team on penalties.........yup fucking resurgent alright!

And beat the current European champions on the way as well as the current Premier League Champions.

It's what Cup runs are all about, innit.

all this bickering about perception of past performance. yawn. roll on new manager and next season. kinda hoping AVB will be given the job, based on the perception of his abilities prior to the chelski job. he would certainly be motivated to prove he can hack it in the premier league.

That does not signify resurgent force to me. It's not a one off that you've not been good enough to get a Europa Cup place without winning a cup that was only given a place to get Premiership teams to take it seriously in order to secure sponsorship.
Manchester United - 1989 11th, 1990 13th, 1991 6th, before they went on to finish second then the rest is history.

Should have sacked Fergie in 1991 as they where obviously a team in decline, statistics can prove whatever the originated wishes

Well done CARRPS, keep knocking them down. Pissed KK has been sacked, personally I think it was a disgrace but do worry now about who comes in and where the septics are taking us.
