I was one of them. took me about ten minutes to stop laughing when the Manure fans went from "we've won the league!" to "...they've scored twice in added time?!?" priceless

    as for engr1972/Guardiola - nah, he's taking a sabbatical for a year.

It won't be Guardiola (at least, I'll be very surprised if it is after he said he needed time off). It's a shame that Rafa doesn't seem to be on the short list considering he knows the club and fans and still lives in the area. Cappello would be interesting, so would Deschamps. I can't see Klopp leaving Dortmund though.

my money is on Deschamps, but Guardiola would obviously be the dream choice. don't mind Martinez, but not sure he has the credentials FSG are after.

suspect Deschamps would be interested because OM don't have champs league footie next season either.

one name I wouldn't be comfortable with at this point is Capello, not sure the players would respond right.

Capello's record in club football is amazing, to be fair. Seven Serie As, 2 la Ligas and a Champions League. I wouldn't complain if we ended up with him and the sooner that the players realise that they don't run the club the better.

The first bit of good news out of the club this week if Clarke's staying on.

You were pretty fucking quiet after the semi weren't you soft lad?

Glad you won your cup though.

I note you don't make any mention of the celebrations at Woodison when the Final whistle blew at Sunderland?

Whats that? Hypocrisy? At the Peoples Club? Surely not.

Oh, and I'd crawl over broken glass for Benitez to return. Wont happen while Ayre is at the club unfortunately - oh and while FSG were listening to Belters like Alan Kayll.
