I have been told a that it all kicked off in the dressing room at Anfield at half time, during the Reading game. Stevie G had a go at Pelligrino and Pepe Reina had a go at Sammy Lee.

Stevie G is refusing to play for Rafa again

    Anybody else heard anything

i heard that during half time, craig bellamy came back and whacked kenny dalglish with a golf club, so fabio aurelio did a roundhouse on him.

but that might be just an unsubstantiated rumour, from my mate whose sister's boyfriend's kid sister who used to work in the shop.

He is responsible for the most part on what is going wrong at your place
Erm...... Balls. Edited to add, take a look at page 108 of this thread. There is a complete breakdown of the spend and sell by Rafa. On an Average of 16.6 mill a season he has improved the squad. Which shows what a pile of shabite we had then.

And the day I take "its not all finances and the owners" from a Chavski fan will be a cold day in hell.
And has been said by those far more elegantly than me, its because he has spent a fortune on shiit on flogged them for what he could get when he found out how dog toffee they were. Improved the squad???? are you mental?? Of course, Ngog is a far better striker than Bellamy

I'm all for it me. Its funny to see your "improved squad" desperate to battle for a draw against stoke
Sorry if it wasn't clear. I meant since 2004.

True enough, although I think that Ngog is a decent young striker. He had an awful game yesterday, but generally this season he's shown enough to give him a chance. Kuyt's an experienced international striker and Babel, if he wasn't such a shithouse, should be a decent young striker too. In theory we should have three decent enough back up options if Torres is out.

Unfortunately, all of our players seem to have had major slumps in form at the same time while we also go through an injury crisis that is the football equivalent of the first day of the Somme.

The players haven't gone from genuine title challengers to shite over pre season and neither has Rafa or his tactics. I'm still confident he can turn the players round and get them playing again. The question is whether he'll be backed in the transfer market if he needs it.

The figures floating round for his spending are mostly bollocks and based entirely on guesswork from a press which has never really liked him. His net spend this summer was £10,000 from what I've read, less than most League 1 sides have to spend. He's spending only what he brings in and might not even get that much to spend anymore. The Yank cancers have fcuked us just like they have with United.
So how does Wenger do it? He makes a net profit overall and appears to be single handley paying of the new stadium?

shhhhhh......anything that dispels the fact that the Owners are all at fault and that Rafa cannot be held responsible whatsoever for the tactics, substitutions, and the bought and sold players cannot be tolerated on this forum

It's only the last couple of years that he has done, and that's mostly thanks to Citeh chucking money around like a pissed up squaddie in a high class strip club on pay weekend and the sale of the last of his real star players (Henry, Adebayor etc. Fabregas will probably go to Barcelona in the summer and he'll make another transfer profit).

Besides which, he's won sod all since he started turning a profit and the've only finished above Liverpool twice and Liverpool won the European Cup in one of those seasons and got to the Semis in the other.

Balls again. Rafa has his faults as a manager, as do they all. However I will not stand by and allow the Media generated torrent of abuse that he gets (and I might add all the dead man walking spiel is generated by the Media - the club were firm in saying Rafa's position is not up for discussion) be spouted by "the man in the street" and have it presented as fact.

I speak with real Liverpool fans who follow them home and away, and the majority - by no means all but most - are firmly behind Rafa. My main issue is with people who present themselves as the voice of the people - Chris Bascombe is one in the Sunday Sun - who can't get past the fact that Rafa will not talk to them, therefore they are free to make up their own shabite - like SSN this morning trying to present the witty P45 as being held up by Liverpool Fans.

Rafa confuses, baffles and perplexes me a lot of the time. However I wont be led by the nose to where the Media want me. I have presented facts on the current financial state of the club. I happen to believe that the team is playing the way it is due to underinvestment, because the facts tell me this is so. Rafa hasn't become a bad manager in the space of a summer, hence I ignore the media led diatribe and continue to present the facts.

    Simples.

Somewhere in Spain there is a footballing tactical genius screwing up orders and table arrangements in a restaurant.
