Scotland Squad for Summer tour
Interesting new boys, reflects on HC and Rabo Pro 12 performances. And TV finally gets his chance after two years running top try scorer in Pro12, though can't play against Australia as still won't qualify then but can play the other two games!
And Ansbro is back to give a bit of variation in the centre.
BBC Sport - Dutch winger Tim Visser called up for ScotlandIt is in truth not for glory, nor riches, nor honours that we are fighting, but for freedom -- for that alone, which no honest man gives up,
As true today as in 1320.

Can't really pick a bad back line from that lot.
Blair
Laidlaw
Lamont/Evans/Ansbro - with Visser taking the 11 shirt for Fiji
Scott
Ansbro/Grove
Brown
Hogg
Cusiter
Weir
Lamont/Evans
I'd have taken McInally and MacArthur and possibly Shiells too but don't really have many complaints about the squad.

Wonder if this is the last time we'll see Blair in a Scotland shirt. Off to Brive.

What I can not understand is why Edinburgh would sign a couple of Welsh players, it's not as if we don't have our own players to bring on.

Rees is a decent player tbf. Doubt there's a young sh that could walk into the first team. Yapp is as useless as Traynor.
The only other signings I'm sure of are Nel, VDW and MacAlpine. The rest I'll reserve judgement on.

Just do us a favour & don't break Joe Ansboro!
To eat well in England one must have breakfast three times a day
Somerset Maugham
London: its "buzz" and "vibrancy"... can be codewords for drugs, late-night noise and multi-culturalism run (literally) riot.

McInally and Dunbar called into squad.
Former to cover Barclay if his hand doesn't recover, latter as Evans is still playing for Castres .

Are these matches being televised?

Sky 1 @ 1000 on Tuesday. They're still working on coverage for Fiji and Samoa.
