Just had a cracking image of Edwards flattening precious boys nose all across his face.

Not sure why Cardiff feel the need to sign Henson. There appear to have been problems wherever he has been.

As for 6N 2012, before RWC 2011 I was concerned that losing a player of Henson's undoubted ability would be a big miss for Wales. I no longer think that. Given the youth and vibrancy of the Wales team at RWC 2011 we need to push on with that vision of the future, and to select Henson would be a retrograde step.

I agree entirely with everything you said there. Henson is an excellent rugby player, when on form. But he has a habit of spoiling things for both himself, and the team he's with.

    It's a shame.

A bit like Celebriani. Too quick to believe his own press and a worrying sign of the Association Football-isation of Rugby. More happily most of the younger players I've come across seem to be a lot more grounded. Perhaps the more grizzled of the Front Row Union give them the odd reminder of how much they need to learn!
ARRSE - Not as funny as it used to be since 2003.

Any state which has a permanent staff of officials, they begin as our servants and end up imagining themselves our masters.

    My take on 6N.

France to win with their new coach. The remainder will beat each other.

Wales aren't that good, who did they beat above them in the IRB rankings in the WC? Ireland could end up with the WS depending on who retires before the 6N.

That has nothing to do with us winning the 6N

Who did they beat in the last 6 Nations then?

When RU first sold its soul to the devil you had to offer current players a fair wack because they all had very good jobs. A lot of them had careers. You can't say to a solicitor or a doctor "put your career on hold for anything up to 15 years and we'll give you £20k a year and a pension".

We are now in the truly professional era where being a rugby player is a career choice in itself. If a lad with little education or prospects on an estate in Cardiff (or anywhere else for that matter) gets offered 100k plus a year to play then you can foresee that there will be problems if he is not assisted in his career path.

Too much money and free time coupled with a lack of imagination are not a good combination and clubs need to develop young players or have the spoiled 'I'm a God' attitude because they really are worshiped by those around them.

Already making me chuckle. Wales fans seemingly think they've just got to turn up and it's theirs. England written off. We won't miss Moody, Johnny, Tindall, etc. We've ready made replacements in all positions, and they'll want to prove a point. Happy to go in as underdogs.

That's irrelevant also. It's not even the same team, and nor are the other 5 teams.
