Re: Formula 1 2010.
Do you think we are likely to get another Hamilton/Alonso style bitchfest between Button & Hamilton? I think they should have a bigger Union Jack on the car if this comes off.

Re: Formula 1 2010.
Doubtful. I think Button and Hamilton don't have the 'whingeing crybaby' gene that Alonso has.
And this you can see is the bolt. The purpose of this
Is to open the breech, as you see. We can slide it
Rapidly backwards and forwards: we call this
Easing the spring. And rapidly backwards and forwards
The early bees are assaulting and fumbling the flowers:
They call it easing the Spring.
They call it easing the Spring: it is perfectly easy
If you have any strength in your thumb: like the bolt,
And the breech, and the cocking-piece, and the point of balance,
Which in our case we have not got; and the almond-blossom
Silent in all of the gardens and the bees going backwards and forwards,
For today we have naming of parts.

Re: Formula 1 2010.
I think the lines of demarcation will be drawn between the two drivers' management teams. The drivers will be collaborative, want to race and want to beat each other.
I truly believe that the pair of them really want to be in identical cars with the same support levels to show who really is the World Champion. In sporting pundit terms of the two drivers, Button clearly won the first half of the year, but Hamilton won the second half. Now we can watch them truly compete.
Now where is a truckload of C4 so we can blow up Teflonso and Missy's team???

Re: Formula 1 2010.
This seasom ses the return of Ilmor to F1, after their split from Mercedes back in 2006. They had an agreement not to participate in F1 for 3 years while Mercedes stayed away from the American side of things for the same time. The founders of Ilmor brokeway from Cosworth to form their own company. With that technical background, they should soon be supplying some bloody good powerplants for some of the teams again, they managed to supply Toyota and Honda and some of the Yank teams for the Kart and Indy series in the States, hopefully they can do the same here for F1 again.

Re: Formula 1 2010.
I think Button made a smart move there, three years at McLaren will mean race wins if not another Championship. Don't know if he can outclass Hamilton but it will be fun to watch.
Considering the Mclaren was the most improved car of last year and the Brawn was falling back I think Jenson got the best deal. Plus with Brawn now becoming Mercedes and Vettel's contract at Red Bull running out at the end of 2010 he would have been a one year stop gap in Mercedes plans. Mercedes want Vettel as he is the best German driver right now despite all the "we dont want an all German team" rubbish. But with Button/Hamilton at Mclaren and Rosberg/Heidfield at Mercedes I know who my money is on for next year.
It isn't Mercedes. Although I think they are planning to invade Kubica's garage and nick it ..

Well at least we all now know which team Button will be driving for, ok I would have liked to have seen him stay working with Ross Brawn, but the confirmed move will certainly make very interesting & exciting racing, which is what we all want to see.
Am I correct in thinking Jenson will be displaying his #1 on his Mclaren debute? That must surely put Lewis's noise out of joint & provoke extra drive from within. Good luck to them both and the rest of the team.
