I hope the dirty munt bastard takes a long, long time dying and his last hours are searing white agony and he is tormented by the souls of all the Whites AND Blacks (Ndebele,Shona & Shangaan) he has had a hand in the deaths of, I have nothing but hatred and contempt for Mugabe and his sort, They ruined a beautiful country, subjugated it's people and made them live in fear and pain...
Even when I hear the phrase "Uncle Bob" it makes me sick to my stomach as he's no more and uncle to anyone as Stalin was.
Not only were the people of Rhodesia betrayed by the Lancaster House agreement, but those who followed in Zimbabwe Rhodesia and Zimbabwe, the place could have been so much more, but the politicians decided "Quick" was better the "Effective" when it came to handing power over.
I'm still sitting here 31 years later, seething and sick to my back teeth about this, please forgive me if i've offended anyone with this diatribe, but to be quite honest I probably care too much about something that is dead and gone and will never return...............The Major said "Milligan, how long have you been in this man's Army?" I said "About 5 foot 11 inches"

Certainly not offended by your rant. Totally agree with what you say. My take on the whole situation is, that Ian Smith was sold down the river by a lying British government. I,m sure that if Nkomo was alive he'd also agree.
Where about are you living now. Still in the land of Zim.

Parents were out there from '69 until '82 when it got too much during the worst of The Gukurahundi and what was being done to the locals, whilst I was sent off to become a Crab in the UK in 1980 and then from '92 as a Gunner as there were no options to serve honourably in Zim, some of the happiest years in my life were spent in an around Bulawayo, but with the amount of time I spent away, plus the fact I was born in the UK in '63 I guess you could call me a Semi-Wenwe, not by Birth, but by persuasion if you get my drift..

Hopefully the baster will shuffle off sooner rather then later but the fokker seems to be hanging on, can some one give the grim reaper a knock up and tell him he's got a customer in Zim (and while he's at it can he pop next door and take bleddy Zuma with him).

So stood firm the stout-hearted
Warriors in the war - they did keenly strive
Who with his point first should be able
From fey men to win life.
Warriors with weapons: wrack fell on earth.
They stood steadfast; Brithnoth stirred them,
Bade each of his men intend to the strife
That would from the Danes win glory.

Every now and then I read something that makes me feel all warm and good inside, the news about Mugabe having cancer was one such enjoyable moment, even beats the good feeling I had when Osama went down...
I will never forget that I was once a soldier.
There is no higher calling. I would do it again in a heartbeat.

The 88-year-old was hooked up to a life support machine as he battles against cancer
Tuesday April 10,2012
By Louise Sassoon
ZIMBABWEAN dictator Robert Mugabe was fighting for his life in a hospital in Singapore, it was reported last night.
The 88-year-old was hooked up to a life support machine as he battles against cancer.
A senior official of Mugabe’s ruling ZANU-PF party said the President was having intensive treatment in Singapore and that some members of his family had joined him after boarding a chartered private jet on Saturday.
It is thought his health took a turn for the worse yesterday, prompting the government to postpone a cabinet meeting.
