    Mongo and redshift like this.
"A democracy cannot survive as a permanent form of government. It can last only until its citizens discover that they can vote themselves largesse from the public treasury. From that moment on, the majority (who vote) will vote for those candidates promising the greatest benefits from the public purse, with the result that a democracy will always collapse from loose fiscal policies, always followed by a dictatorship." Rough neighbourhood, is it?
"Hurrah for the Works Group" just doesn't have the same ring...

"A volunteer is worth ten pressed men."
So, a TA battalion or nine Regular Guards battalions? Not a difficult choice, then (especially as we don't have nine Regular Guards battalions).

'Sorry for the late notice--my bad. We have shoots fairly regularly so if you get a travel opportunity let me know. We really don't need much of an excuse to fire up the range.

    Awww shoot

And its there, THAT gun its in the list.

Your a gent for making such an open invitation to such a thoroughly disreputable bunch of fellows. However unless I've won the lottery I to am going to have to decline.

the concept thought of an ARRSE Georgia crawl is mighty interesting just a thought for future reference.

Not from the UK if you are a full UK citizen. There is a visa waiver program for certain countries.

    Take a look at.

Please be aware that if you come you will find that we spel phunny. Also, if someone in the US south offers you tea they probably mean a beverage that is cold, sweetened and contains ice. Try it! It may seem odd but is actually quite refreshing.

Caution re beer: Much of the beer in the US tastes like the product of a horse's kidneys and will be served cold. I suggest you might enjoy a Sam Adams beer which will be a bit more like what you are used to.
