Some years ago I went to an event at Dartford where there was an exhibition by a civvy shooting club who use ranges at Stone as was [I think they are now gone]. Went over to look at the hardware and was asked if had any experience with firearms. Any way his reaction when he found out I'd been in the services was " We don't want any of them in the club-dangerous bunch of sods" which curtailed the conversation rather sharply. And he wasn't joking, at first I though he was just ribbing but he was really snobby about it.

Sad but true.
Not that long since self and number of other invited guests walked away from a charity shoot at a clay ground near Bexleyheath.
Greeted by the sight of a twat attempting to shoot eveything from the hip. When somebody loaded and closed up on two rounds whilst still waiting to take the stand, all those who loudly complained were told to mind their own business or fuck off.
We fucked off.

QOn a Hot morning in cyprus I found the meaning of anger. Fortunataly I was comftably numb.
The RSM and various other NCO's seemed very agitated.

S Sqn on Otterburn ranges, GW Troop with 438s doing their thing with Swingfire, hot, dusty, shit loads of flies and everyone pissed off. First missile after lunch, operator collects his round drops it right down to ground level and sets fire to about 1000mtrs of the range, peace and quiet for the rest of the day and knocked off early

Same scenario but with a sheep. The round must have "skimmed" the chest muscles the resulting wound was horrific it looked as if a cut throat razor had been used to slash the flesh. First human victim I saw had been hit fair and square between the shoulder blades the chest exit wound was huge, at least the size of my fist.

"If however you offer to moderate you may be a sanctimonious, unfunny pissflap to your heart's content."
Some comments are allegedly "very very nasty and uncalled for."
