Awwww spoil sport...just as I was thinking about testing them on a cat shitting in the flowerbed...kills and then burns the evidence and gets rid of a few weeds all at the same time.

Those flachette rounds look like they would be perfect for pinning pussy to the primroses.

I would like to see a shotgun round with a small boxing glove inside. If it could be fitted in to a box too that would be great. As the box got close to the targets chin the boxing glove would pop out and dleiver a KO to the chin.

I have never seen them anywhere and there are very few places in the world that do allow them as they are a military/LE round.

Most firearms law, especially ours centres around a genuine need and suitability for use. You'll only get slugs on S1 for a specific purpose, eg. if you breed bulls/cattle or if you are in a "practical shotgun" club. Same with high capacity shotguns. Heavy duty bird control and practical shotgun.

I dont know if flechettes are banned/prohibited as such but I'd hazard a guess that they are at the very least banned from import for civvy use.
I was also thinking on the lines of justification, But, Technically, you could use them for Pheasant, (flying, not hiding in the bush,) and I was wondering "if that was a way round it", mind you at the price I will stick with 6 shot.

    Cheers

That's it... The Italian Caribinari had them in Bosnia (their special mob) they had one that made a figure of 8 sort of pattern, to take off locks/hinges.

I always wondered what happendd to the wad in the cartridge though...

Talking to a CSM on the Beretta stand last year I got the impression that the door breachers are specialist round. Certainly the use of them requires specialist training. I always thought you used what you'd got but apparently it's not that simple.

You mean things like duckbill chokes? Never used one, but always thought they looked ridiculous.

They work well for removing hinges prior to Harrat slugs being widely available, they're also a treat for companionways.
Though if fitted it'd make firing slug 'interesting.'
Apparently some moderators take themselves very, very seriously, and cannot abide posts such as:

Some comments are allegedly "very very nasty and uncalled for."
