Just hand it in to the coppers if you don't want it anymore. They ain't worth shit anyway, unless it's some rare thing.

When I emigrated, I had an old BSA Meteor. I thought about selling it or just dumping it at the tip, but I didn't want it on my conscience that some 17yr old scrote would have someone's eye out with it. So I took it to the Police, explained my story, and they seemed genuinely grateful. No charge, no hassle.

    Guntraders.

There are also a few specialist collectors in 'Gun Mart' who might be interested in your old air gun - depending on what it is, of course.

Prolly sold it to some scrote in a pub car park later that evening...isn't that what some of your police officers do these days?

Seem to recall a bunch of 'em going down for doing this kind of thing with real bang/bullet-head/powder gun shooting things recently.

I don't think so, the desk bloke wrote it in the occurrence book, or whatever it's called in the Police. However, it was certainly acquired like that.

My old man had been a copper years ago. Confiscated the thing off some scrote and kept it. Somehow I ended up with it. It had a big old fracture in the butt that had been screwed back together. I often wondered if he'd wrapped it round the scrote's bonce.

Still, I did the right thing and got rid of it sensibly. Up to the coppers what they did after that.

    +1

You'll need to make a few posts before the sales section becomes visible to you.
