Why do you think that is irrelevant? (and BTW, when did you become a moderator?)

Someone handed a gun in to the police and tac pointed out that handed in weapons have been sold by corrupt police in the past.

As you will see from my post, when it come to firearms, the police are not trusted by the shooting community. I think that is very relevant to this forum.

Well given the circumstances of its arrival in our family, seems like a fair one to me!

As I said, I just didn't want anyone getting blinded by some 17 year old scrote. It wasn't worth anything, I did the right thing, whatever the coppers did with it.

I absolutely agree with your motives in disposing of the gun safely. I think that all member of this board would applaud those motives.

In fact it's very sad that so many members have so little faith in the integrity of the Police.
