"A democracy cannot survive as a permanent form of government. It can last only until its citizens discover that they can vote themselves largesse from the public treasury. From that moment on, the majority (who vote) will vote for those candidates promising the greatest benefits from the public purse, with the result that a democracy will always collapse from loose fiscal policies, always followed by a dictatorship." Feel free to laugh chaps but I bought the following a couple of weeks ago for my lad. He's been a cadet for a couple of years and I've really been impressed by how seriously he's taken it and when one of the AI's took them airsofting for the day it was fun to sit watching then taking it seriously and treating the yellow and black plastic 'weapons' with respect.

Anyway, we've got a large garden with no nose neighbours so I got him a Tangfolio Witness 1911 for £120 and I must say I'm quite pleased with it. Fair amount of power, the blowback action is fun and I must say I've had a giggle with it myself. Even strips down pretty damn similar to the real thing so you can keep it clean.

I showed my son this thread and JJH's OP and he asked me to chuck his 'gat' up so feel free to rip me to bits
Steven Seagull is a rotten, internet bully, a seventh generation cunt, he was born in a state of misery, half-cooked with a mean streak a mile wide. Over the years he has developed a passion for human oddities, presdigitation, tattooing and torture.

As I say, its loads of fun and the blowback action does make you grin as you make pop bottles spin. It also makes you realise just how much you are missing out when you are loading 'icke metal balls into the mag and come home to see other fella's USP's, Springfield's and Glock's.

    *sob*

As a note of interest, the MK23 is to my knowledge the only western pistol designed and fielded for offensive employment. I was assigned to SOCOM HQ when it first came in and at that time it had a funky proprietary HK rectangular suppressor (aka "Pelican Bill") on it (on the bottom in picture below) before they got the KAC (on top in picture below)
