I have always liked the modified Weaver Stance but "Urban Yoots" seem to like the 2Pac Shakur stance.

'Discharging a firearm within 50yds of a public highway' is the most you should be charged with then.

I do believe it may be 50 feet and is unchallenged in firearms law as it was drafted in the days before dual carriageways and motorways!

And in any case is part of the Highways Act 1980, and has the qualifier: "with the consequence that a user of the carriageway is injured, interrupted or endangered."

Policemen often quote the first bit but not the last, I'm not sure they're even taught it.

Its from the centre of the highway. That makes those huge carriageways near Heathrow interesting in terms of law.

Why would you want 3 pistols because each one "had a different use"?

Its idiots lunatics and shit heads that use guns to kill people and its a slack management of a system that despite many modifications that fails the normal people who do not carry guns. A gun is a tool and that is the only time it should be held by an individual. Anyone caught with an illegal firearm should have sufficient fingers removed to prevent
them ever doing more than taking it down and fondling it with their tongue.
As to a Guardian Website and your other stupid comment, I wasnt rude to you so you might want to learn to grow up a bit my old mate

Well I had several pistols, a .25 for Vest Pocket pistol comps, a .32 for Pocket Pistol comps and a couple of .455s for standing revolver practice, one was a webley and one a colt new service. I also had a 9mm Steyr for the auto comps but I sold it without firing it I seem to recall. So even in pistols there are massive differences and those were just HBSA Classic comps.
I hadnt scratched the surface with modern stuff thankfully!
As for rifles I had 8 .22 rimfires of which 2 were self loaders but only one was a modern pest controller rifle. The rest all filled niches in classic comps.
Rifles. I did have 4 .303s but thinned the herd whem I packed up competition shooting as it wasnt filling the trophy cabinet let alone the freezer!

There are 6 pistol events at World Championship or Olympic level for which 4 different pistols miniumum would be needed (one being an air pistol the other 3 firing live ammunition).
That is before considering dozens of other competitions and categories.
